4/15/2026 0 Comments You have to start somewhere!I have the hardest time just getting started, so here goes. I'm jumping in full force or I never will. I have been sitting on this blog for 3 months trying to figure out how to make it "good." The fact is I won't know what is good and what just doesn't work until I get started and I'm not getting any younger. I will be posting on my blog at least 2 a week, with no schedule at this time, but when I figure it out, you will know.
I have so many exciting things coming and I want to share with as many people as possible. First, I am seeking 2 more clients for Pro Bono, Zoom Reiki treatments as I practice my skills working with energy. I am looking for people who are dealing with a health or personal battle and those who wouldn't necessarily be able to afford these treatments. If you or someone you know would benefit from this, email me and I will reach out. [email protected] Why aspire? Because an aspiration is more than just a goal. To "aspire" means to have a strong, persistent desire, hope, or ambition to achieve a specific goal or become a certain type of person. It goes beyond simple dreaming; it involves an active commitment to work toward a higher standard, often requiring determination and action. The term comes from the Latin aspirare, meaning "to breathe upon" or "reach toward," symbolizing the effort to rise higher. Key Aspects of Aspiration · Active Pursuit: Unlike wishing, aspiring requires taking concrete steps to turn a vision into reality. · Purpose and Direction: Having aspirations provides a sense of meaning, helping to guide your life choices and priorities. · Identity Transformation: It is often about becoming a better version of yourself or embodying specific value This is what I am working on every day and it takes work. It is always easier to tell others what they should do to achieve their goals, but hard to work on the process myself. I do not see the things that I aspire to be as a goal I will reach and/or achieve, but rather something I will continue to work on within myself for the rest of my life. We live in a world of instant gratification and if the changes we desire don't come easily or quickly, we lose interest or shift. I am human, I do this too. I wake every day with the desire to do better than the day before and to leave the world a better place when I am gone. This is not always work types of goals, but life and living goals. Making time for exercise, to connect with nature, to connect with friends, family, pets and to spend less time scrolling. This is not easy and just like everyone there are struggles with adulting and changes that come with aging. I try not to focus on these changes, like menopause, but rather to embrace that this is my body changing and evolving for the next phase of my life. Is it easy? NO, not one bit, not at all, but your mindset matters. Let's face it nothing in life that is worth anything is easy. This is also where hypnotherapy and Reiki are helpful and why I completed the training in both of these areas. These skills have helped me make positive changes in my life and empowered me to help others on their journies. We are all living this life on Earth for our first time and we are all doing the best that we can. Here's to achieving all that you aspire to be! Mindy
